Around the Plaza de Caranqui, which is next to the parish church, there are several shops of bread, where the owners affirms that the main base for the bread is the curd. For many years the elaboration of milk bread in this parish has become a gastronomic icon and a delicacy that the visitor who comes to Caranqui can not miss.
